Branson "To Do" Ideas: Our Family Favorites
We absolutely love our time in Branson and are thrilled to share some of our favorite activities with you. We highly recommend visiting the websites of any of these suggestions to confirm their hours, as they can change seasonally. Also, be sure to check recent reviews to ensure the quality of your experience!

Delicious Dining Experiences
Branson offers a fantastic culinary scene. Here are some of our top restaurant picks:
1.) Top of the Rock Restaurants; The Osage Room, The Buffalo Bar and Arnie’s Barn
(we recommend reservations for the Osage room or get to to the TOR property by 5 to
get into the other restaurants). Arnie’s Barn is usually lunch only but also has seasonal
dinner hours.
2.) Big Cedar Restaurants; Worman House and “Devil’s Pool” and “Buzzard Bar”
3.) “The Landing” has a variety of chain restaurants that overlook Lake Taneycomo
4.) “Clockers Diner” in Downtown Branson for traditional diner breakfast atmosphere
5.) “Billy Gail’s” Restaurant for large portion breakfast/brunch
6.) “Bobba Joes” Ice Cream in Downtown Branson for unique/artisan ice cream flavors
7.) “Parlor Donuts” for unique/specialty donuts, coffee and a breakfast sandwiches
8.) Hollister (the small town right to the south of Branson) has a quaint main street. It
has several restaurants and bakeries to explore. “Hook and Ladder” is our go to pizza
spot.

Must-Do Attractions and Activities
Fishing/Boating:
1.) Boat rentals are offered at several places on Taneycomo, “Scotty’s” is the closest in
proximity to Fish Camp.
2.) Guide services are available on both Taneycomo and Table Rock and are
recommended for a fun fishing experience.
3.) Boat rentals are also available on Table Rock Lake if you are looking to tour, ski,
swim etc.Golf: (All located south on Highway 65 about 15-20 minutes from Fish Camp)

of the Rock
Other Activities/Things to Do:
1.) Top of the Rock-Golf Cart ride “Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail” check hours as
it changes with the season. It can also get really crowded on weekends during peak
seasons. If you can schedule to visit during the week and/or towards earlier morning
you may be able to work around the big crowds.
2.) Top of the Rock-Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum. Amazing collection of
Native American artifacts and art. The collection follows Native American history
through the Civil War. If you are a history buff you can spend a couple of hours in the
museum or you can do the speed tour. It is 35,000 square feet of exhibits!
3.) Big Cedar Spa-enjoy some R and R in a beautiful setting!
4.) Silver Dollar City-family fun with rides and activities. If you have never been to SDC
be sure to wear good walking shoes. There are hills throughout the park, it is not a flat
layout like Six Flags parks.

7.) If you are wanting to do some shopping, you can walk The Landing, walk around
Downtown Branson area and/or Tangiers Outlet Mall
8.) Branson Scenic Railway-nice during the fall to see the trees or for Polar Express

9.) Dogwood Canyon Nature Park-for walking and/or biking
10.) A variety of shows are available to see depending on the time of year and what is
featured. Most of the Theaters are located on the Branson Strip which is 10 minutes
from Fish Camp. We recommend watching the traffic pattern if you plan to attend a
show as the Strip can get busy. A few classic shows include Dolly Parton’s Stampede
and dinner show, The Sight and Sound Theater, etc. The pop/rock music shows are
also fun…Dean Z (Elvis), Michael Jackson, The Beatles etc.

is also plenty of mini-golf and go carts for kids/families on the Strip

Getting Around Branson from Fish Camp
Our property is conveniently located, making it easy to access all these wonderful spots. While driving is generally the easiest way to get around Branson, here are a few tips:
- Consider using GPS for the most direct routes, especially during peak season.
- Traffic can be heavier on the main strips during evenings and weekends, so plan accordingly or explore alternative routes.
- Many attractions offer ample parking, but some may have a fee.
- For downtown Branson and The Landing, walking is a great way to explore once you've parked.
